Denham Springs acrylic artist Michelle Conques savors New Orleans cuisine in her show, “Sweet Louisiana, The Good Life”. Brightly painted crawfish, shrimp and crab are balanced out by sweets, such as sugary beignets and donuts. Engaging servers are pictured as well as contented diners.  To underscore the New Orleans flavor, Conques also has painted a charming trio of shotguns and an iconic St. Charles streetcar.  The show is truly to be enjoyed!  It opens September 2 and runs the month.
